Johnny Depp has set up camp at the Ritz-Carlton in Virginia during his marathon defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, as he recovers from his daily routine in the courtroom with a dinner of chicken parmigiana and red wine, according to sources with Fox News Digital.
Jurors received the sensational case on Friday and deliberated for two hours before taking a break on Memorial Day weekend. They returned on Tuesday to continue studying the case.
About 15 minutes from Fairfax County Courthouse, the five-star property is located in McLean, Virginia, conveniently connected to an upscale shopping center that houses Louis Vuitton and Gucci among other luxury retailers.
The actor has a hotel suite and takes most of his meals at The Palm, a gourmet steakhouse with more than 30 restaurants in the United States, Puerto Rico and Mexico, Fox News Digital sources reported. The restaurant is about 100 meters from the hotel entrance.

The Black Mass star often dined with his bodyguards, lawyers, and other dog trainers in a private room next to the bar, which had a separate curtain and exit.
A source said Depp usually comes down from his room after the restaurant crowd has worn off.
According to another source, the veteran comedian and his entourage regularly spend $1,000 a night on fine wines and choose $35 chicken parmigiana as their default meal.
