Homemade greasy hair masks with green/white clay
From fruits to dairy products, including essential and botanical oils, your kitchen is full of natural and beneficial products to pamper your skin. The most important thing still is exposure time. To get the most out of this homemade greasy hair mask, it is essential to respect the recommended time of 30 minutes. Also note: EOs are strongly not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- 3 tbsp. green or white clay
- 10 drops of rosemary / grapefruit / lemon EO
- lukewarm water
Mix the three ingredients until you get a somewhat runny paste. Apply a thick layer to an oily scalp, massaging it in gently, then distributing over the lengths. Avoid if it is dry. Then leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off. This mask can replace your shampoo. Simply massage the clay into the lengths when rinsing.
Finish the treatment with a final rinse using 300ml of water and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. You can also add a little horsetail, nettle, or burdock powder.
Oily hair mask with aloe vera
- 1 c. tablespoon aloe vera gel
- 1 c. tablespoons wheat germ oil
- 2 tbsp. white clay
- 5-8 drops of Albijardi Petit Green essential oil
In a bowl, pour aloe vera gel, vegetable oil of wheat germ and essential oil of bitter orange. Then add the white clay and mix until you get a homogeneous consistency. Warning: Metal utensils should be avoided. They risk changing the virtues of clay. Apply the home remedy with a brush or with fingers to the scalp only. Leave it on for half an hour before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Finish with your usual shampoo. Keep the mask in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Baking soda greasy hair mask
How do you use baking soda for oily hair? In the form of a hair mask of course! It is no secret that baking soda has thousands of beauty benefits. With honey, you can use it to prepare a home mask to treat oily hair. All you have to do is mix the following ingredients until you get a paste.
- 2 tbsp. baking soda
- 1 c. honey
Then massage your head for ten minutes and then rinse. This paste will absorb the excess sebum from the scalp and make your skin more lustrous. For a moisturizing effect, mix honey with a little yogurt and aloe vera gel. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes, then rinse it off with a mild shampoo.
