To honor her second invitation to the MET Gala, Kaia Gerber was a hit. Cindy Crawford’s daughter walked the red carpet in a silver Alexander McQueen dress, almost outdone by her majestic hairdo that grabbed all the attention.

Instead of getting used to wearing a short bob on all sides, Kaia Gerber has stepped out of her comfort zone. The model opted for extra-long, voluminous curls that rolled down her waistline, to highlight the cutouts on her bodice.
Her extraordinarily long hair was parted in the middle of her head, while her locks were secured at the front of her face on either side of the parting by shiny barrettes to match her outfit. It was impossible to miss this work of British hairstylist Guido Palau, a hair artist known for his bold looks.

Her makeup, made exclusively with Yves Saint Laurent Beauté (the brand for which Kaia Gerber is the inspiration), was more classic to give the hairstyle standout. On her eyes, Kaia Gerber wore a line of brown eyeliner covered in shimmering eyeshadow and her thick eyebrows simply brushed upwards. Her mouth was drawn in pencil and filled with slightly bright red lipstick.
A glossy black nail polish completed this retro makeover in homage to the golden age of American glamor, the theme of the 2022 edition.
